Web Cam Movies

We have three web cameras that are located in Barrow, one is mounted on the Cake Eater snow fence, and the other two are out on the BEO site. Below are a few selected images of visitors to our site. The images from the camera sites have been stiched together into small movies and can be found by clicking HERE.

Several snowy owls are digging for lemmings that are living under the SWE sensor

The owls seem to like this spot, on our visit late September, we found a lot of bits of tundra on the sensor panels.

An arctic fox, our arch nemesis, visits our site quit often during the winter to sample the fine dining of our sensor cables.
